Beta 0.5 update
0.5 Beta Release
Its been a long time since we released a demo build. There's a lot of changes. In short, the game looks and feels very different.
Updates
Main Menu: Over haul of style and design. Updated fonts, equipment select is separated by type and a new option to play as a female character model. Mission select is separated by sets of missions rather than a random list of missions that spawn.
New Rooms/Levels: So many new rooms, room details, and the demo has a full 3 levels and tutorial.
Post Processing: Added fog and different lighting in different missions
Textures: More detailed walls and floors
Player Targeting: Bullet spawn points are now set on the player rather than the weapon. This makes the player shooting more accurate as it not longer is locked in by rotation and animation of the gun's position. When throwing equipment, it throws after an animation rather than a target system.
Reduced Brute spawns
Traps: New random room type called trapped rooms. (Still in development) If a room is a trap room, the room will add more environmental features for the player to deal with.
Sounds: We have more sound effects across the whole game
Many enemy bugs are fixed
Bugs known
1) Suicider does not explode
2) Respawned units after mission starts do not take damage
